A study conducted by Rawaa Hadi, a researcher from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Kufa, showed that the percentage of those who have coronary artery diseases in Najaf Governance is 80% among men whereas it is 20% among women. The researcher stated that the study covered 90 people from different age groups. They have been divided according to their blood groups. She said that the study results indicated that people who carry blood groups (A, B, AB) are more prone to coronary artery diseases than others. The possibility of being infected by coronary artery diseases increases with aging. This has been concluded in the thesis which was submitted by the student to obtain the Master degree in Pharmaceutical Science.
