Mr. Samir Mahdi, an employee in the Faculty of Physical Education at the UOK, was chosen to be among the referee crew taking part in the finale game of the Arab Clubs Championship for Men and Women Handball. The event is hosted by the Asian Arab Union in Tunisia. For his part, the dean of the faculty, Dr. Qasim Al-Kakani, confirmed that the union has chosen the referee Samir Mahdi Salih from the faculty among a referee crew consisting of fourteen referees. He added that the championship includes teams such as the men Tunisian Makarim Al-Mahdia Team, the Kuwaiti Al-Kadain Team and the Tunisian Al-Abyad Team. While the women teams include the Emirati Nisa Al-Ayen Team, the Algerian Shalgoom Al-Abed Team, the Tunisian Makarim Al-Mahdia Team and the Tunisian Al-Noor Team.
