Profile

I hold a bachelor's degree in Biology and a master's degree in Genetics from College of Education for girls - University of Kufa and a doctorate in Cytology and Molecular genetics at College of Science - University of Kufa. Teaching in the Department of Biology in College of Education for Girls at the University of Kufa.

Research Interests

Study of chromosomal aberrations and micronuclei formation for bon marrow cells in mice.

Detection of ability of some plant extractions in protection of mouse somatic and germ cells

Study of fingerprinting for some plants.

Analysis genetic diversity between varieties for some plants

Study of chromosome number and karyotype for some plants

Study of chromosomal behavior in meiosis for some plants.

Application of DNA markers techniques (RAPD, RFLP, SSR) on some plants.
