• I trained as a soil specialist at the University of New England (UNE) before taking up an academic position at the University of Kufa, Agriculture College in 2013. The topic of my PhD was Use of potassium to increase irrigated rice production. My main research areas are soil potassium chemistry, plant nutrients, and fertiliser technology. Current active researches also include K in soils. Recent research has also focused on organic fertiliser.
