B.Sc. from University of Kufa in civil engineering (1998). M.Sc. from University of Technology in Structures. Assistant Lecturer at University of Kufa - College of Engineering Department of Civil Engineering since 2006.

Research Interests

1. Analysis and design of fibrous concrete, concrete with chicken wire in addition to the ordinary reinforcement.

2. Analysis and design of green (alkaline) concrete.

3. Vibration in structures (Buildings and bridges).

4. Structural health monitoring (SHM) and damage detection in structures.

5. The application of optimization methods in various field such as analysis and design of structures , damage detection and SHM in structures by using the techniques of Tabu Search (TS), Simulated Annealing (SA), Genetic Algorithm (GA), Artificial Neural Network (ANN) or other else.

1. Using of short length of small nails as flexural reinforcement in one way slabs as fiber reinforcements.
