Message from the University President
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
(And say (O Muhammad) “Do deeds! Allah will see your deeds, and (so will) His Messenger and believers. And you will be brought back to the All-Knower of the unseen and the seen. Then He will inform you of what you used to do.”
(Surah At-Taubah, 105)
In UoK, we are facing a new challenge to promote the educational process since UoK has taken advanced standings among global universities and world university rankings, especially in Web metrics, RUR, and QS. This achievement comes as a result for the performance across all of its core missions: teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and international outlook.
We try to work hard on the enhancement of scientific research through encouragement of publishing research in recognized world journals that have received advanced impact factors. Increasing scholarships and study chances in world recognized universities is another step to improve postgraduate studies in the university. On the other hand, we seek to receive foreign students to study in UoK in the various fields; consequently, we attempt to obtain the world accreditation. We also seek to open other opportunities to hold cooperation memorandums with high level universities and activate the previous ones.
UoK will remain an open door that presents its educational, research, and consulting services in front of all official and nonofficial institutions and private sectors. The university will also be ready to provide all programs that are of great benefits for society. Further, it takes into consideration all the solutions and studies for sectarianism and peaceful coexistence; UNESCO chair and specialized departments in UoK can provide such instruction. The university has a lot of experts trusted by the society and national government in presenting the consultation to support the national economy and the use of alternative power. Our mission will be extended to complete the university’s infrastructure that has taken advanced levels depending on local revenue and higher education fund.
Finally, we adopt the bright truth that says “solutions for our problems come from science and the university is the resource of this science”
