The UOK Parade participated in a two-day showcase for university parades which was held in Al-Hussein Holy Shrine, in the attendance of several religious and academic figures. Consolation and religious lectures were presented, including a lecture on the moral dimensions of Imam Hussein revolution. The UOK Parade included more than 70 students, in addition to a number of professors and staff members headed by the Vice-president for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Mahdi Al-Sahlawi. He stressed on the need to draw inspiration and take lessons from the revolution of Imam Hussein. As well as standing up to the terrorist gangs of ISIS whom are an extension from the gangs that fought Imam Hussein and wanted to pollute the Islamic religion through deviation.
