In 1975 , I practiced sports when I was a student in the intermediate and preparatory school especially track and field sports .
1n 1978 , I got the Iraqi prize in high jump .
In 1978 , I represented Iraq in the Asian championship which was held in Ban cook / Thailand in high jump and I got the ninth position (the first international participation .
In 1979 , I represented Iraq in two friendly matches in Baghdad , between Iraq and China , Iraq and Turkey .
In 1979 , I got the first position (the gold medal) in the second Arabic championship which was held in Baghdad and I got an Arabic record (2.03 M)in high jump .
In 1980 , I represented Iraq in the international championship which was held in New Delhi .
In 1981 , I represented Iraq in the championship of the world's universities which was held in Bucharest / Romania .
In 1982 I represented Iraq in the international championship in Budapest / Hug aria .
In 1982 , I represented Iraq in Nicosia / Cyprus and I got the third position In 1983 , I represented Iraq in the fourth Arabic championship which was held in Amman / Jordan and I got the fourth position in the height of (2.07 M) in August.
In 1983 , I got the new Iraq record in high jump , (2.13) in Mosul . This record is still registered in my name till now . in October .
In 1983 , I represented Iraq in the fifth Asian championship which was held in Kuwait and I got the silver medal in height of (2.10 M) . The gold medal was to the Chinese owner on the international record (Zogian) who recorded (2.31 M) . It was a new Asian record in the Asian championship at that time . in November .
In 1987 , 1988 , 1989 , I represented Iraq in the Iraqi international championships in Mosul .
In 1978 – 1982 I was within the university team .
In 1992 , I worked as a coach of the team of Baghdad University and the national team of power sports .
In 2001 , I participated in the training seminar in the training camp of the high jump for the young in Cairo (Egypt) for the period from 9/4 till 16/4/2001 .
The Administrative Works:
- I wrote many researches issued inside Iraq .
- vice head of the administrative council of Al-Najaf sport club and I was a member of the administrative council .
