As we are going through an era of scientific progress in the field of computer sciences, the use of computers has become a necessity to cope with the world wide large paces in this regard. Hence, spreading the culture of information among the Kufa University Personnel in particular , and Al-Najaf community in general has become one of the most important goals of the Computer Center at the Kufa University, in order to make this dream comes true, the Computer Center has launched a an information awareness campaign mainly targeting its  employees and  the university staff  about the use of computer skills and the development of their cognitive in the field of Information Technology. So the Computer Center has set achieving this goal as its priority through  holding the training courses and qualifying ones in the field of computers and information in accordance with the standards and specifications listed in the syllabus of  I.C.D.L   (International Computer Driving License) which is a certificate approved  in all countries of the world, as more than 144 countries use this certificate to ensure the good quality of users of information technology in business performance and it has become a key requirement in the various countries of the world in Europe, Asia and the Americas to complete the various stages of education and promotion in employment and access scholarships and recruitment and also for setting global standards for measuring the efficiency of the use of computer skills in general and technical knowledge of the foundations of information. In addition to opening new spaces for individuals to be able to contribute to the information society and help to activate the speed of the work of the labor force and society in general and providing a technical  passport to learning and training and accessing the highest professional levels and their syllabus:

1 - Basic Concepts of IT. 
2 - Computer and Managing Files.
3 - Spread Sheets (Electronic Tables).
4 - Word Processing .

5 - Presentation Designing.
6 - Information and Communication Technology

   The periodic regular development of our curricula has been taken into account to enable trainees to be aware of the enormous potential of the information industry and to take advantage of them in addition to the daily training courses on the basics of using computers and the principles of the Information Technology . The Computer Center is specialized in  the preparation of courses in Computer Visualized Languages such as:

         Visual Basic

        Visual C + +

        Visual Fox Pro

as well as some databases and software application programs such as PhotoShop and image processing programs in addition video programs . We are at the center have started an age of openness toward the governmental departments in the province of Holy City of Najaf . We have an endless ambition and the sky is the limit.
