The dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at the UOK, Dr. Abbas Al-Aboudi, announced the reception of patients at the faculty’s Teaching Hospital. The hospital is ready to treat those patients who suffer from teeth malformations.
Dr. Al-Aboudi added that there are economic benefits from performing these operations, especially to those patients with low-income and whom lack enough money to perform these operations on their own expense.
The dental operations include teeth fillings, cleaning and extractions. At the same time students are given the opportunity to practice their specialty hands on. The dean stressed that the treatment is given in accordance with innovative methods and modern devices run by doctors at the faculty.
He also pointed out the need for commitment by students in stages that require summer training to attend the educational clinics and strictly keep to the university’s uniform.
It is commonly known that the Faculty of Dentistry’s Teaching Hospital, at the UOK, receives year-round patients seeking treatment, whether it be fillings, cleaning, extractions, or even surgical and cosmetic operations.
The faculty has announced the start of summer training in all the educational clinics affiliated with it from 16/08/2015, after it was equipped with modern and advanced devices.
