The Continuous Education Division at the Faculty of Engineering, the UOK, accomplished (14) different training courses for the academic year (2014-2015). The aim of the courses is to improve the efficiency of state employees, university staff and civil society institutions.
The head of the Division, Jumana Al-Husseini, stated that these courses include the techniques of engineering drawing by using (AutoCAD 2010) program, the methods of calculating thermal loads for buildings, the analysis of concrete using (STAAD.pro), the basics of using the internet, as well as the methods and ethics of the profession, and the laboratory tests for construction materials, plus many more topics regarding engineering and technology.
It should be noted that the Division has trained hundreds of employees and technicians working in the university, governmental departments and private sectors, as well as the teaching staff.
The courses include training in the fields of computing, the internet, engineering in all specialties, the environment, occupational safety, management, and educational and psychological sciences.
