A thesis entitled “Neuroendocrine Tumors” submitted by Ms. Ru’a Hameed, a postgraduate student at the Faculty of Medicine, discussed neuroendocrine tumors, their spreading during the last three decades, and tardiness in the diagnosis of these tumors, as most of these tumors do not reflect known or specific symptoms. The researcher asserted that the right diagnosis plays an important role in managing the disease and improving the opportunity of a patient to survive. She added that the study aims at identifying the most important neuroendocrine tumors and expressing the signs of the general Neuroendocrine System. Its diagnostic role in neuroendocrine tumors, its relationship with various common clinical diseases as well as the location and degree of the tumor were discussed. The research concluded that the main location of the neuroendocrine relating to the Digestive tract and Pancreas is in the stomach and then in the pancreas.
