This conference was hosted in Faculty of Medicine – University of Kufa, January 24th 2013. The main goal of the 3rd Iraqi Neurosciences Symposium is to give you the opportunity to stay up-to-date on knowledge in the field of Neurosciences.
15 scientific presentations were delivered in three sessions focused on the most important achievements and developments in neurosciences and neurology.
Dr Zuhair Al-Lebaan “Middle Euphrates Research Centre” presented his research on the stem cell culture while Prof. assistant Dr Zaki Noh Al-Mousawi “Al-Kindy Faculty of Medicine – University of Baghdad” in his lecture he covered the latest development in neurology. Dr Al-Mousawi also stressed on the important developments that carried out by Iraqi doctors and professionals in medical treatments in this type of diseases.
Dr. Beshaar Ghaeb – Baghdad Health Office mentioned in his presentation the achievements neurologists and their discoveries of appropriate treatments for patients.
At the end session the symposium concluded various recommendations such as the governmental support for the research centers in the country. Also to provide these centers with the equipment and medicals as well as with medical expertise.
This symposium was attended by the precedent of the University of Kufa Prof. Dr Akeel Abid Yaseen and his assistant for the scientific affairs Dr Asa’ad Al-Janabe, number of the council of Al-Najaf Province, specialist doctors and postgraduate students in medicine area.
