Abstract

الخلاصة Laboratory tests are considered as one of the most important activities that are useful to verify the compliance of material properties and the executed works with the implemented quality requirements.This paper sheds some light on the present situation of laboratory tests which are employed in Iraqi construction projects. It can be concluded that low percentage do enforce the requirements and specifications concerning construction lab tests. The study declares the causes of non-implementations of inspection requirements. Part of these causes is found to be related to contractors, while the other causes are attributed to supervisors. Consequently, the truthfulness of lab tests and quality of executed works will be impaired.The study explains the require plans for enhancement of quality level, and giving attention to field and laboratory inspections. These steps include legislation of rules and requirements that must be implemented by all executing supervising and looking after teams. تعتبر الفحوص المختبرية إحدى الفعاليات الهامة التي يعتمد عليها في تحديد صلاحية المواد الانشائية المستعملة وكذلك نوعية الأعمال المنفذة.تلقي الورقة الضوء على واقع حال الفحوص المختبرية للمشاريع المنفذة في البلد حيث يتبين أن نسبة قليلة من المشاريع تقوم بتطبيق الاشتراطات والمواصفات المعتمدة في مجال أجراء الفحوص المختبرية.تتطرق الدراسة الى أسباب عدم الالتزام بالضوابط الخاصة بالفحوص المختبرية حيث يعود جزء من تلك الأسباب الى الجهات المقاولة والجزء الآخر الى الجهات المشرفة على الأعمال. ينتج عن ذلك مجموعة من الإجراءات المؤثرة على مصداقية نتائج الفحوص وبالتالي على نوعية الأعمال المنفذة.تعرض الورقة الإجراءات المطلوبة لغرض الارتقاء بنوعية الأعمال والاهتمام بالفحوص المختبرية متضمنة إصدار التشريعات اللازمة ووضع الضوابط المطلوب ان تطبقها الجهات الإشرافية والتنفيذية والرقابية في البلد.
