Abstract

The main objectives are to investigate the trajectories of 46p/Wirtanen as short periodic comets under the effects of sun gravitational attractions and perturbations caused by the nine planets of the solar system. Perturbations due to the major planets, Jupiter and Saturn are considered for their dominance. .Numerical integration of the equation of motion of the comet through the solar system was performed by using Adams-Bashforth method.
