Abstract
This study has dealt with 72 clinical cases caused by E.coli , 33 of gastroenteritis,28 of urinary tract infections and 11 of wound infections.
According to the sex of patients we found that the UTIs were in female more than in male where it were 18 cases in females, as well as to the gastroenteritis were it registered 19 cases in females.while there was no significant difference between sexs in the wound infections.
Also we made comparison study of the bacterial adhesion average to the epithelial cells isolated from urine ,using three different isolates each one represents a single pathogenic case being registered as a case result from E.coli .
Where we found there were significant differences among them ,the highest one was the UTI isolate where the average was 42.4 bacterial cells/epithelial cell ,then the wound isolate in 10.3 bacterial cells/epithelial cell ,and finally came the gastroenteritis isolate in 5.3 bacterial cells/epithelial cell. |
