Abstract

ABSTRACT : Seventy one specimen were collected from pacifier of children patients suffering from Gastrointeritis. According to bacterial morphological characteristics in culture and under microscope with biochemical tests, helped me for isolation and identification of 56 bacteria isolates. The study has showed that the ratio of isolation E.coli was 17(30.4%), Klebsiella pneumonia 11 (19.6%), Proteus mirabilis 9 (16.0%), P. vulgaris 6 (10.7%), Enterobacter spp. 4(7.1%), P. aeruginosa 3 (5.4%), S. epidermidis 3(5.4%), S. aureus 2(3.6%) and Shigella dysenteriae 1 (1.8%). Many bacterial isolates showed high resistance in the antibiotics sensitivity test were tested against twenty one antibiotics. The meropenem, impinem, siftrixone and amikacin were showed killed to it. The minimum inhibitory concentrations of some isolates were higher.
