Abstract

In reality, cement industry is a highly imperative segment in the industrial field that plays a substantial role in the socio-economic evolution. Up to now, approximately 40% of the waste heat energy from cement plants is released into the atmosphere without being used effectively. The mechanism to recover the unused heat depends on the temperature of the waste heat gases and the economics involved. The waste heats can be classified as waste heats of middle and low temperatures. Some available power plants are suitable to recover the waste heats.
