Abstract

this study aimed to detect MIC of the extracts and mix this extract to know the effect produce from the mixture ,also this study aimed to detect the value of LD50 for cold aqueous extract of myrtus and the value of LD50 for hydroxid part of garlic .Also this study showed that the least value of MIC was obtained by hydroxid part of alcoholic extract in garlic which was (12.5 mg\ml) and MBC was of (25mg\ml) ,the mixture of hydroxid part of garlic extract with cold aqueous extract of myrtus of (0.50+0.50) gave the highest activity agianist P.aeruginosa . the value of LD50 for myrtus leaves of cold aqueous extract was (1383mg\kg) and the value of LD50 for hydroxid part of garlic cloves was (2500mg\kg).
