Abstract
Objectives:-
To assess the Quality of Life for patients complain from Chronic Renal Failure who undergo hemodialysis and to find out the relationship between patients' Quality of Life and their demographical data, and clinical characteristics.
Methods:-
A descriptive study was carried out in Iraq at Al–Najaf Al–Ashraf/Al–Sadder Medical City and Al–Hakeem Hospital/Hemodialysis unit. For the period from September 20th, 2016 to May 30th, 2017. A non–probability (purposive) sample of (203) patients with CRF were selected. Questionnaire form was constructed based on World Health Organization (WHO) instrument for the purpose of the study. Validity was determined by presenting the questionnaire to a panel. Reliability of instrument was done through a computation of Pearson Correlations for Quality of Life. Data were collected through the application of the questionnaire and interview technique. Data were analyzed throughout descriptive statistical approach (frequency and percentage, mean ofscore, Correlation Coefficients) and inferential statistical approach (chi-square).
