The British Foundation of International House London held a workshop about developing the skills of teachers of English language at the UOK. The workshop was attended by a number of university professors from different departments and scientific specializations. The lectures were delivered by Prof. Domenic Volayan and dealt with teaching English language for the purpose of human resource management and the language of negotiation and government, in addition to the development of English language teaching curricula.
The workshop was held in coordination between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the universities of Babylon and Kufa. The delegation from the foundation sought to establish its own branch at the UOK.
It is worth noting that the British International House London Foundation is one of the discreet foundations in the UK, and it aims at developing the skills of learning and teaching English language to teachers.
