4. Description Abstract

Abstract:
Background: This study aims to find out the immune response (antibodies and cytokines) for women with disease T.gondii and correlation between them calibrated and the effects on the patients of the difference age groups.
Martial and method: Were collected (022) samples of blood and (02) samples of umbilical cord from women and pregnant women with disease T.gondii and revisions to hospitals in Najaf and laboratories for the purposes of abortion or treatment of disease, while the number of women samples control amounted to 02 samples . Pregnant women and control were divided into three age groups, namely, (11-01), (02-02) and (03-73) respectively. The study involved collecting samples and tested the first test by latex and then examined by the technique of adsorption-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the detection of antibodies (IgG and IGM). The study reported that technique is more important than the ELISA test for latex which was (P = 2.223).
