The Faculty of Engineering, at the UOK, warmly welcomed a delegation from the Korean Hyundai Company. The delegation met with the dean of the faculty, Dr. Ali Hussein Otaiwi, to discuss methods of developing faculty laboratories and supplying them with modern equipment. In addition to attracting some engineering staff from the faculty, with bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees, to work in the Korean company. For his part, the dean of the faculty confirmed that the visit aims to discuss the benefit of engineering expertise and field laboratories for the completion of Karbala Oil Refinery Project, which is supervised by Hyundai Company. He also added that the Korean company, accompanied by engineering staff, took a tour around the faculty to view the laboratories of concrete, building materials, fluids, soil, roads, and construction.
