Dr. Ali Naji Atiyah, professor from the Faculty of Engineering at the UOK, readily participated in a scientific development program that focuses on the transition from traditional education to that which is based on learning outcomes, which is currently being supervised by IREX. The participation included an intensive training course held by the American Concrete Institute (ACI), in its headquarters in Michigan.
In addition to the Iraqi representative from the UOK, several other representatives were present from Singapore, China, Peru, and 21 other branches from the USA.
The training program included lectures in various fields such as how to set goals in ones plans, organizing activities and communication skills for the purpose of marketing, and how to modify the rules of procedures and programs of granting international certificates from the institute . Dr. Naji was awarded a participation certificate for his active attendance in the scientific conference, as well as the title of ‘Branch Leader for 2016’.
