Within the Partnership program with the University of Kentucky, the Department of English Language of the Faculty of Arts organized a scientific session that discussed the Behavioural Objectives of Learning, through which two lectures were delivered by Asst. teacher Musaab Abdil-Zehra Raheem and Asst. teacher Majid Muhammed Saadoon in the presence of a number of the Department’s teaching staff.
The Lectures included the description of the academic learners’ behavioural objectives and adopting the learning methods that depends on the (outcomes) and the (projects) of the students, and holding examinations of various types, as well as the lecturing methods and stimulating the critical thinking of the receiver. The session recommended focusing on the eagerness of the learner to acquire his/her information, organizing specific teams that aim to treat the cultural phenomena and analyzing it, as well as giving the students the opportunity to show their opinions and deliver their views in a healthy way that will lead them to creative thinking.
