The dean of the Faculty of Basic Education at the UOK, Dr. Ebtesam Abed Al-Kareem Al-Madani, confirmed that the UOK has signed scientific agreements and formed academic research teams with worldwide institutions and universities as preparations to acquire the UNESCO Chair. She pointed out the formation of a scientific research team made up of the Head of the Department of Research and Development at the Ministry of Higher Education, in addition to the deans of the Faculties of Basic Education, Jurisprudence and Law, in order to work within the project framework of religious dialogue and memory studies.
Dr. Al-Madani added that the team has recently visited a number of academic and research institutions, as well as a group of religious figures of various religions and cults in the Lebanese capital, Beirut. The aim of the visits was to sign agreements of understanding with scientific Lebanese universities and centers, that take interest in religious dialogue. Furthermore, to form research teams that can carry out theoretical and field studies.
