THE FACULTY OF EDUCATION FOR GIRLS HOLDS AN EDUCATIONAL SEMINAR ENTITLED "THE IMPACT OF SECONDARY SCHOOL ON BUILDING A STUDENT'S PERSONALITY"

The Faculty of Education for Girls, in collaboration with the Cultural House, organized an educational seminar under the title “The Impact of Secondary School on Building a Student’s Personality”. It was held in the presence of Dr. Nazar Al-Nafak, the dean of the faculty, a number of heads of departments, students and those interested in cultural affairs in the province. The seminar aims to activate the mutual cooperation mechanism and open up to governmental organizations and civil society organizations, in order to address the problems and obstacles that plague society.

The seminar included several lectures, including a lecture by Asst. Prof. Abbas Nooh Al-Mousawi, in which he mentioned the school’s impact on the development of the student’s personality, the most important duties of the administrative board in the school, and the teacher’s influence in the development of intellectual capacity. In addition to another lecture by Dr. Abbas Al-Madi on the subject of the curriculum and the teacher.

The seminar ended with a set of recommendations, the most important included the increased interest in the educational guidance program at schools, and focusing on training and rehabilitating counselors both scientifically and professionally.
