The Faculty of Medicine at the UOK received a delegation of professors and students from the Private University of Safwa in Karbala. The visit included access to the Anatomy Lab which contains modern corpses. The head of the Anatomy Division, Asst. Prof. Dr. Riaad Lafta Mutib, presented a lecture to the students of the visiting delegation about the modern abilities of the laboratory, the methods of embalming corpses, and the scientific and academic benefits provided by the laboratory to faculty students.
Part of the visit was a tour for the students and professors of the visiting delegation through the faculty corridors and buildings. The visit was part of the strategic plan put by the dean of the faculty in order to open the horizon of cooperation and build knowledge bridges between the Iraqi faculties and universities.
