Dr. Shenawah confirmed that the agreement comes as part of the opening up of the UOK to discreet Arab and international universities. It also aims at benefiting from the experiences of the Egyptians in the field of pharmaceutical industry. While from the Egyptian side, the agreement was signed by Dr. Nabeel Mohi, the dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Kafar Al-Sheikh, during his visit to Iraq to attend a conference on the reality of the pharmaceutical industry which was hosted by the Faculty of Pharmacy at the UOK. He also expressed the willingness of his faculty to lay its potentials and expertise at the disposal of the Iraqi side. Pointing out the entrance of investment in the pharmaceutical industry in Egypt.
Prof. Dr. Shakir Shenawah, the dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the UOK, signed a collaboration agreement with the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medicine Production at the University of Kafar Al-Sheikh in Egypt. The agreement included the exchange of scientific expertise and professors, as well as the supervision of the postgraduate students’ researches and attendance to conferences and symposiums.
