A delegation from the Global German Archeological Institute visits the UOK to discuss means of cooperation in the scientific research field and the development of the students of the Faculty of Archeology at the university.
The delegation included a number of archaeology professors at German universities and members of the German Archeological Institute. They discussed with the President of the UOK, Prof. Dr. Akeel Abed Yaseen, ways to developing joint research centers between the two sides and exchanging students for training purposes.
For his part, the dean of the Faculty of Archeology, Prof. Dr. Tahir Al-Wa’ili, confirmed that the aim of the visit was to activate what has been previously reached with the Germans, and to implement the programs set in place. Keeping in mind that this is the second visit by the delegation to the UOK.
