The President’s Assistant for Administrative Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Sabar Najim, met with a visiting professor from the University of Beirut, Dr. Mihsin Salih. The meeting was set to negotiate the idea of collaboration between the two universities and the exchange of visits between professors, in addition to attending symposiums and conferences.
Dr. Sabar presented a detailed explanation about the university, its faculties which amount to 21, its potential capacity for undergraduate and postgraduate students, and its future plans. He also pointed out the university’s cultural relationship with various European, American and Arab universities, particularly its goal to make ties with Egyptian and Lebanese universities. Dr. Sabar made it clear to his guest that the university is very open to its surroundings and community, doing its best to serve the governmental institutes and departments by means of the expertise of its professors.
