The UOK recently dispatched a number of its professors outside Iraq to participate in scientific conferences and symposiums. Dr. Talib Hussein Noor Al-Deen, a professor at the Faculty of Medicine, was sent to Britain, the University of Imperial, as part of a training course for the development of teaching staff. Also, Dr. Ameer Jakeem Al-Kalidy, a professor at the Faculty of Languages, University of Baghdad, was dispatched to Turkey in order to bring the Ottoman documents belonging to Najaf and Kufa cities. To the University of Manchester in the UK, the university sent Prof. Noora Mohammed Sahib Al-Karawi with the aim of achieving her PhD in Computer Science. Also, for the purpose of participating in the Second International Conference for Agricultural Science and Medical Resources, which is held by the Iranian Al-Razi University, the university dispatched Dr. Nuhad Habeeb Mutlak, a professor at the Faculty of Science, in addition to Dr. Haider Mahmood Ali and Asst. Prof. Abdul-Ameer Abed Hatem, from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, to the same university.
