For his part, the head of the Preparatory Committee of the Conference, Dr. Hussein Kishash, stated that the number of researches submitted to the conference amounted to one hundred and twenty. A total of eighteen researches were selected as winners in the top three places within each of the six specializations: medicine and health, pure sciences, engineering and technology, agriculture and veterinary medicine, humanitarian sciences and social sciences.
In the presence of a number of professors and deans, and under the slogan (We Think, Innovate, Invent, a Fruitful Research or Project), the UOK held the Seventh Scientific Conference for Students’ Graduation Researches. Dr. Hassan Al-Alak, the President’s Assistant for Scientific Affairs, confirmed that the conference aims at spreading the spirit of competition and scientific innovation among students, so as to motivate them and uncover their scientific and knowledge potentials. In addition to encouraging applied scientific research and employing it to serve the community and solve its problems.
