The UOK dispatched a number of academic professors on scientific participation outside Iraq. From those who were sent was Dr. Mohammed Haleel Al-Quraishi, a lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering, to Amman in Jordan to attend the special meeting of the UNESCO chair in order to discuss the project document and the agreement on the methodology of work related to the granting of the chair. And based on the invitation addressed from the Euro-Arabian Organization for Environment, Water and Desert Researches (EWDR), Dr. Durgham Khaled Abed Al-Wahab, a lecturer at the Faculty of Physical Planning, was sent to Turkey to participate in the International Scientific Conference for the Environment by displaying his research entitled (The Climatic Repercussions of the American Harp Project). While to Switzerland Dr. Abed Mohammed Hassan Al-Ramahi, a lecturer at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, was sent to discuss his research (Cantor Interpolating Spliqn Electronic Mail Boxes). The university also dispatched Dr. Amal Ahmed Ridah Baqir, the lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering, to the University of Cardiff in Britain in order to participate in the Development of Teaching Staff Program, while at the same time Mr. Nazar Abed Al-Kareem Al-Yasiri, from the Research and Informational Rehabilitation Center, was sent to participate by discussing his research in the Second International Conference for Computer Engineering and Mathematical Sciences held there. To complete her study requirements for obtaining a PhD degree in commercial law, the lecturer Huda Jafar Yaseen was sent to the University of Western Sydney in Australia since she was included in the scholarships program.
