Dr. Waleed Faraj-Allah, dean of the Faculty of Jurisprudence at the UOK, participated in the Conference of Dialogue Between Doctrines and Religions.
The conference was held in the office of the President of the Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar Al-Hakeem, and was attended by various political, religious, academic and diplomatic figures.
Dr.Faraj-Allah stressed that the world is in need of such dialogue in order to spread the message of peace and harmony, as well as overcome the problems and challenges facing humanity.
Noting that the conference ended with several recommendations represented by a call to all Iraqis for the need to stand-up against terrorism and sedition schemes that are trying to tear Iraq apart.
He pointed out that he represented the UOK at the conference, which was held as part of the International Interfaith Harmony Week.
