The President of the UOK, Prof. Dr. Akeel Abed Yasseen, headed a meeting to discuss the final preparations for the graduation ceremony of the second batch of civilian troops trainees.
The meeting was attended by the two vice-presidents, heads of committees, and trainers of the troops.
The meeting focused on the upcoming graduation ceremony, which is to be held next Saturday at the University of Dhi Qar.
Dr. Yasseen stressed on the need to finalize the training curriculum, as well as prepare the volunteers both mentally and physically before they can successfully graduate from the course.
He also pointed out the fact that the UOK was the first university to adopt the training process, in response to the appeal of the higher religious authority.
Praising the efforts of all those who contributed to the training and graduation of volunteers.
It is noteworthy to include that the UOK ended the training of its first batch of volunteers before Ramadan and started with the second batch training from the first day of August, and for a period of fifteen days.
