The Vice-President for Scientific Affairs at the UOK, Dr. Hassan Al-Alak, announced that the university will be kicking off its second-round military training courses for the second batch of students, professors, staff and those willing to take part in the appeal made by the higher religious authority.
Al-Alak added that the training will begin on Sunday the 26th of July, 2015. The training, which will last for a period of three weeks, includes the preparation of fighters physically and psychologically.
Several theoretical lectures are given on how to address the rumors and psychological warfare. Furthermore, trainees will be subjected to practical lectures on the different weapons and how to use them, as well as the dismantling of weapons and sustaining them.
It is worth noting that the university had begun its training sessions since the beginning of the summer holiday and was successfully able to graduate its first batch of volunteers.
