The Vice-President for Administrative Affairs at the UOK, Dr. Mahdi Al-Sahlawi, announced the formation of specialized committees for preparing and following-up on the activities of University Day, which will be taking place on the 5th of January, 2015. The UOK will celebrate its 28th annual anniversary recalling the years of scientific and humanistic achievements, as well as all the scholars and scientists who graduated from the university. The activities will include exhibitions of fine art, photography and books, as well as theatrical performances by university students.
It is worth noting that the UOK witnessed a great expansion in the field of scientific disciplines since its establishment in 1987. It currently includes 21 faculties and a great number of scientific centers.
